(Own the road).

There's no need to change what you are. Just own the space you stand in.

Working with people shouldn’t require a degree in psychology. But here you are - intelligent, competent, successful… and still finding yourself blindsided by behaviour that just doesn't make sense: The silences, power-play, politics, and ego-driven table-thumping that shouldn't have to be part of your bloody remit.

Most coaching speaks to you as a singular entity, separate from the chaotic, messy, unpredictable world you inhabit. It suggests that if you tweak your mindset enough, you’ll slot into some pre-greased groove the universe has had waiting for you all your life. Spoiler alert: you won’t. The truth is, you don’t live in a vacuum. You show up as part of a tribe - a group with their own rules, rhythms, and unspoken codes.

I coach people who are tired of guessing what 'they' want; who don’t want therapy, and who don’t need another feelgood pep-talk. They need clarity. They need complex dynamics translated into plain English.

Ignorance isn’t bliss. It’s the fastest way to lose ground, waste time, and get played.

The truth is, most people don’t understand themselves either. But they know how to use leverage, avoid conflict, and protect their position - consciously or not. If you’re working with them, living with them, or leading them, it helps to understand the rules. Especially the ones that no one wants to admit are there.

  • Why do some people fold in the face of confrontation while others double down?

  • Why do your suggestions fall flat - until someone else repeats them?

  • Why do conversations keep circling the same drain?

  • Why do you feel like you're “too much” - while watching others get away with creating chaos?

There are reasons. They’re not always flattering. But they are understandable. And once you learn to recognise the patterns, you can respond instead of reacting so predictably. You can engage without the need to contort yourself, and stop bleeding energy into the same situations, over and over again.

Cultural Intelligence starts with human behaviour.

You wouldn’t ignore your diet and call yourself healthy. You wouldn’t smoke 20-a-day and just hope your lungs can deal with it. The same goes for a business. Most of the issues people call 'cultural' are actually structural - baked-in behaviours, protection mechanisms, and silent negotiations no one will admit to.

I work at the behavioural level because it’s where everything starts. It’s also where everything breaks.

You want operational excellence? You need clear relationships. Safe dissent. Respected boundaries.

Who I work with

I coach privately. No group circles, no slideshows, no programmes. Just straight, grounded conversation. Typically once a week. Some clients prefer to talk about work, others about relationships - many about both. The line isn’t always clear, and that’s half the point. This is for you if:

  • You lead people, and you’re tired of guessing at the politics in the room.

  • You’re constantly underestimated - until you’re direct, and then you’re “too much.”

  • You want to stop fighting for clarity and start leading from it.

  • You’ve got a sharp mind, a good gut, and a desire to finally trust both.

What does it cost?

£1,000 p/month. That gets you a weekly 90-minute session and access to me in between via WhatsApp or email, whichever suits you best. I only take on a handful of private clients at a time.

If it helps, don’t think of it as coaching.

Think of it as finally having someone in your corner who gets it, and who can show you how to handle it.
